The 15 Deg from the ECU, says the Idle Switch is working.. that is good.. I forget which way the Cams Will Advance if the Heads are Decked too much.. Do you know the History of the Heads?.. I Have a 96 NA that went together with Unknown heads.. It ended up with 165 PSI Compression!.. And I had to Re-Time the Cams by a BUNCH to get centerline back to stock.. Almost a complete tooth!.. That should have been my Clue that something was amiss with the heads.. Someday I'll get back into that engine.. Yes Intermittent Electrical can be a Problem.. My '90 NA presently will 'Cut Out' on a hot Day with the AC On.. It's not the TPU, as it's now new.. But in CA, the Temps have fallen, and it's no linger a Problem.. But it is a lingering issue.. I don't quite no where to check next on that Intermittent.. I think your Timing Lite is fine.. Simple is good.. Technology is only good if you can verify its working properly.. Cj
